About the Workshop

We thought we would do a technical class we haven't done before. In this class we will start with the basics. so you will learn patch pockets and how to mitre a corner then a curved patch pocket. We then move on to an in seam pocket instead of just stitching your pocket pieces to the front and back we will show you a much more professional way. then we move on the the most advanced a welt pocket, these are the Tayloring ones for jackets and trousers and take time and effort to get right. we will learn how to bind them and how to cut and make your own binding. All your samples will be yours to take away and help build your technical know how . We would suggest you bring a pen and pad and your phone to take photos as the day progresses. This is not a beginner class this is a class to elevate your skills if you want to book to have a go then of course you will be welcome. The class will include everything you need to complete your samples on the day. We provide tea and coffee but not lunch we have a fridge and a microwave for you to store and reheat if you like or there are lots of cafes in new mills to buy your lunch. There is parking nearby on the town hall car park or the main car park a 5 minuet walk away
