About the Workshop

Want a hug in a dress then this is it. This is the snugliest ( is that a word?) dress I have ever put on. Learn how to cut a pattern on the bias matching the checks or make it plain. The bib and yoke are not made to be cut on the bias so you will learn how to adapt the pattern so this is possible. The dress can have a shirt tail hem or not you will learn how to do that and apply a hem facing lots neater than trying to hem a curve all techniques that are good and useful to have. We used topstiching to add detail so you will learn that as well what stitch size works best and what thread we use to give the best results. As with all our classes we provide tea and coffee all day but not lunch, there are lots of cafe`s in new mills that are much better cooks than we are. We have a fridge if you bring your own lunch. You can park in the town hall car park right next to the shop. This class the cost covers the price of the tuition studio facilities and the pattern it does not cover the cost of fabric interfacing or thread .

If cancellation is less than 48 hours prior to class, we cannot offer a refund.
