Overlocker Masterclass

About the Workshop

In this class you learn everything from the basics to the move advanced techniques that your overlocker is capable of. We will teach you the easy way of pulling your threads through (did you know you should never unthread your overlocker?) to the basics of internal and external corners and curves. Then we do mock bands, rolled hem. gathering and flatlock stitch (for making leggings). All this in a supportive and fun atmosphere in a purpose built studio. We have 2 tutors on hand to help and advise you and we only take 6 on a class. The cost of the class is for tuition: if you have an overlocker then you will need to bring it with you. We don't mind if it's brand new straight out of the box or was your granny's - we have used them all in our time. If you don't have an overlocker and want to have a go to see if you would like one, that's fine - you can use one of ours. We provide tea and coffee all day but you will need to either bring your lunch or buy from one of the many cafes in New Mills. The class runs from 10am till 4pm approx.

Cancellation Policy

Please find our cancellation and refund policy below. If cancellation is over 14 days prior to class, we can offer a full refund. If cancellation is up to 14 days prior to class, we will try to fill your space. If we cannot fill your space, we cannot offer a refund. If cancellation is less than 48 hours prior to class, we cannot offer a refund.
