About the Workshop

Want to try your hand a dressmaking?. Already had a go but not turned out like you would like then this is the class for you. This class is for novice seamstresses you can start at the very beginning but we all have tops like this in our wardrobe. ( i have about 8) But you can make it as a dress if you like. You will learn how to take your measurements and the difference between that and the finished size, what ease is and how its used, what interfacing is and what it does, what understitching is, well you learn about that to. A fab class for beginners As with all our classes the cost is for tuition and pattern, Fabric, thread and interfacing for your project will need to be purchased. We will keep you supplied with tea and coffee but not lunch but there are lots of cafes in new mills or you can bring your own. There is lots of parking in new mills all a short walk from the ,shop. you can park outside for a short period with a disability badge .

Cancellation Policy

Please find our cancellation and refund policy below. If cancellation is over 14 days prior to class, we can offer a full refund. If cancellation is up to 14 days prior to class, we will try to fill your space. If we cannot fill your space, we cannot offer a refund. If cancellation is less than 48 hours prior to class, we cannot offer a refund.
