About the Workshop

Overlockers take your sewing from home made to hand made. They can do much more than just neaten your seams. In this class that we said we were not going to do again but we have been asked we will teach you most of what your overlocker is capable of. We cover pulling your threads through easily, rolled hem, flatlock stitch, mock bands, and so much more. You will go home with the skills to utilise your overlocker on all sorts of projects from patchwork to garment making. This is a popular class so early booking is recommended. We ask you to bring a sewing kit needles scissors and such. As with all our classes the cost covers all your tuition use of studio facilities and tea and coffee all day. We do not provide lunch or any special dietary requirements or special drinks, we have a fridge and a microwave that you can use if you need. Parking is available in and around new mills and the town hall is right next door although spaces are limited. there are 2 train stations in new mills if you want to come via public transport.
