About the Workshop

I have for some reason put this skirt as a 1hour class it starts at 10 am and runs till 4pm then again the following week 10am till 1pm whoops just shows i am human and i am not sure how to alter it. We love a pleated skirt they are so flattering neat round the waist and hips but plenty of swish. This can be made in baby cord, wool, viscose , cotton or a poplin. In this class you will learn pattern placement and how important it is to mark correctly, zipper insertion and topstitching and a complete new way to insert pockets and how to apply a waistband and stitch in the ditch. We are allowing a day and a half to complete this skirt so you have time to cut and mark all your pleats so the class will run Saturday and the following Saturday for a half day and the cost reflects that. As with all our classes the cost covers all tuition, use of studio facilities but not the pattern of anything needed to complete your project. We provide tea and coffee all day but not lunch, you can either bring your own of purchase nearby. parking is available a short walk away or in the town hall car park next door.
